Biography
Shahana Quazi, a versatile Canadian singer, recording artist, performer and an influencer of South Asian origin have gained her populary both nationally in Canada and globally in a very brief period. The singer is not just a pretty face and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University, Toronto, a prestigious and the fourth largest university in Canada.
Shahana released her debut studio album, Bhalobashar Kotha, in a foreign language in 2015 consisting of nine original songs. The album, comined with her hybrid North American and South Asian style became an international success soon after the release. Her recent single, Tomar Anari, was released in June, 2019. All of her songs were released from Canada and are available worldwide on all main stream digital music outlets including iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify and Tidal.
Shahana regularly performs live on stage. The singer has performed and shared stages with many of the world's finest biggest Bollywood stars including Atif Aslam, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Sunidhi Chauhan, Neha Kakkar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Indian Idol winners on numerous times.
Shahana Quazi has an uncompromised passion for music since her childhood and started performing on stage in her grade school in Toronto. She has performed live in concerts numerous times at some of Canada's top venues including Scotiabank Arena (formerly, Air Canada Centre), FirstOntario Centre, Paramount Fine Foods Centre (formerly, Hershey Centre), Nathan Philips Square, Canadian and National Exhibition(CHIN Picnic).
Shahana Quazi has been featured and highlighted in various news media and magazines. She is currently the most followed South Asian - Canadian artist with a whopping 22 million followers on Facebook alone.
